Hey,

“Training is not about dominance; it’s about communication.” Victoria Stilwell
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” Mahatma Gandhi
I’m Franco-English and have been living in India for over a decade. My husband and I run a natural horsemanship centre in Jaipur. Natural horsemanship is a horse-centric, non-violent approach to training that focuses on understanding and working with the horse’s perspective rather than imposing the human agenda. This philosophy has been a transformative shift from traditional methods and continues to lead the way in modern horse training.

While horses are a huge part of my life, my love for animals doesn’t stop there. Over the years, I’ve become deeply involved in dog rescue and local shelters. Today, I share my life with nine rescue dogs—some of whom come with complex behavioural needs that aren’t easy to manage.

I’ve worked with various dog trainers, both in person and online, and while I’ve learned a lot, I realised that I wanted to go deeper—I needed to train myself to better support my dogs.

After extensive research, I chose to study with the Victoria Stilwell Academy. Her ethical, science-based approach to dog training resonated with the values I already apply with horses.

I’m currently a student in the program, and this space is where I’ll be sharing my journey.

My immediate goal is to gain the tools and knowledge I need to support my own pack. In time, I may open the doors to help others—possibly even creating a training and boarding centre right here at our horse farm.

For now, I invite you to follow along as I document the process—openly, honestly, and with a whole lot of heart.
